FA-BU-LOUS. When event professionals throw an event for event professionals, you know it’s going to be off the charts. Massages, mani/pedis, cocktails, food, wine, more food, more wine, oh & smores! Each course was served in a different setting... The décor was spectacular, dishes were delectable and laughter, overflowing!

Thrown by RrivreWorks and Good Gracious! at the Simpson House Inn – the only AAA five diamond bed & breakfast in North America, you couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I photographed Ava & Carson for some beach fun in the spring. They were back in town for a visit and mom thought it was a perfect opportunity to get new portraits, getting in gear for the holidays. Timing could not have been better – it was a beautiful day! (I always sing in my head after I say that :D)

I love watching my clients’ families grow. It makes my heart melt when I walk into their homes & see how much bigger the little ones are (and also see those photos I took up on the wall!)

& can’t believe how much bigger & more adorable she is now!


This time I’ve also come to photograph Ivy. Looking very much like her big sister, this cutie is a fast crawler and quite generous with her smiles.

Gorgeous couple, fun energy, great style. My kinda clients! We went around a few places in Palos Verdes and had a blast. Brooke & Cameron took me to the spot where he proposed to her (which has officially been added to my list of favorites!). Got there just in time for that golden, toasty light... ah what a beauty!

Their wedding is not until next year but I’m super excited. Brooke & Cam, thanks for sharing your story!

Yuni & Myung got ready at the Terranea Resort, exchanged "i dos" at the Wayfarers Chapel and shared the lovely evening with family & friends at the Trump National Golf Club. Such a sweet couple! I had an amazing time photographing them. Playing with light, shadow and all the elements around made me fall in love with photography all over again. Could have not asked for a better sky too!

It was a blast shooting with my friend, Minouche. We shot some of my first weddings together and it was just like old times... :)
