Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 3:00PM Next up, Siem Reap! Located in northwestern Cambodia, this is the gateway to the Angkor region. After checking in at the Angkor Village Hotel, our first stop? Angkor Wat! I instantly fell in love with the energy of this place, the people and well, practically everything I saw! We enjoyed the sunset and then came back for more at sunrise. My sister & I are not really considered early morning people but Siem Reap has proven otherwise. Our driver, Sithol, would pick us up at 5:15am (FIVE-ONE-FIVE he'd say repeatedly) to make it to sunrise and then venture off to a full day of visiting amazing sights...

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 3:00PM I was very fortunate to end and start my year traveling around Asia. Visited the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand! It was wonderful to photograph and share this experience with my not-so-little sister (who btw, is an amazing photo travel buddy!). We truly enjoyed the culture, the food, the people ... Each country is different, each story is different.

Monday, January 23, 2012 at 3:00PM Nikolaki (little Nikos) is now Nikos... he doesn't want to be called little anymore! That's my favorite 4-year old. I love listening to him sing (he composes songs on the spot!), I love watching him play ... and most of all, I love his sweet, sweet hugs.
