Had a wonderful opportunity to photograph this editorial for Bvlgari for Mojeh magazine. Mojeh is an international lifestyle, luxury magazine. They were doing a wedding issue and what better place to go than the home of wedding trends & style - Los Angeles! When NY Stylist, Bryan Marryshow, phoned me for this, I was thrilled that they wanted a wedding photographer's eye for this project. What a great shoot and an honor to work alongside a very talented creative team!

Once in a great while, we meet creative partners whose passion & drive inspire us. Eddie Zaratsian, who I'm also very fortunate to call a dear friend, is one of them. We had the honor of again photographing the Eddie Zaratsian annual tea party. This year's Haute Tea party was at Restoration Hardware- which is also home to the Eddie Zaratsian Floral Boutique. Attended by LA's best wedding planners and event designers, the evening was nothing short of fabulous!

Here's a look at the lovely details... I love how the Eddie Zarastian brand melds so beautifully with Restoration's! Congratulations on your many successes E! :)

Me, my sister & I...

Living halfway around the world, it's a bit challenging for us to spend as much time as we wanted... but when we do, we have the BEST. TIME. EVER. Hours of nonstop laughter, random thoughts, interesting conversations, quality shopping, delectable food... and yes rumors are true, we eat for four!

I'm a 5-pairs-of-shoes-on-a-4-day-trip kinda girl. If you knew my sister, you'd think I travel light! Recently, we've made a serious effort to break that "spell"... Growing up, mom made us wear matching outfits, if not, at least very much coordinated ones. She'd wear pink, I'd wear yellow, I'd have ruffles, she'd have the bows... one thing we both hated was how much we itched from the mini petticoats on those dresses! Fast forward twenty something years, it's funny to see how despite living in different coutnries, we seem to have a shared closet. (Although it'll be a dream to share hers!). I was going through some travel photos and noticed how coordinated we still were... Thanks MOM! :)

Alice & Ira :: 25th Wedding Anniversary

It is a joy photographing couples in love, and an even bigger joy photographing them in love 25 years later! I had the wonderful opportunity of documenting Alice & Ira's celebration of life and love at the Hotel Bel Air where they got married twenty-five years ago... a fabulous event by no other than Geller Events! What an AMAZING couple... and definitely a very FUN party!

Love the energy of this couple, SO full of life! I had a great time photographing Yvonne & Simon on a Southern California's version of "winter day" in Malibu. The goal for these engagement sessions is to have fun in front of my camera, and they did exactly that while looking extremely adorable! Can't wait for their June wedding!!

Something Blue, Santorini :: personal project

Blue is a happy color for me... the skies, the ocean, the Mediterranean. Here are a few favorites from a trip to the Greek Isles last spring... photographed walking from one village to another in Santorini. There's a sense of serenity I felt every time I sat out my deck to write or when I walked along the cliffs to simply enjoy all things blue. A definite must in your travel lists!

Thought I'd take a little detour from my Asian photo series (to be continued) and hop over to Paris for a moment. Aaah... the beauty of photographs, we can be across continents in minutes :) I was working on a project and these prints just got in. Nothing excites me more than looking at actual printed photographs! Paris in the winter is SO beautiful...
