Behind the Scenes: Fashion Project
Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 3:15PM Here are some behind the scenes together with some of my favorite shots from that bridal fashion project I did at The Ebell Theater. It is very exciting to work on a concept and see it come to life. I love working with light and playing with various elements to create a mood for my photographs. I can't really draw (hence, the camera :D) but I try to sketch out ideas the best way I can. The Ebell has been a location for a handful of magazine shoots we've done and I knew it'd be the perfect place for this. A million thanks goes out to Melissa Allen for graciously letting us play there.
SO thankful for my awesome team who not only did a fabulous job but made the day a lot of FUN ... & special thanks to my dear friend Minouche for the behind-the-scenes shots!
Shooting with a Mamiya RZ67 (which also doubles as freehand weights!), still my most favorite format!

Theresa Huang working her magic...

NO, we weren't rehearsing for a dance number! ... showing Hen the pose we were going for

ahhh the ring light...

i believe i can fly...

i love backlighting. we utilized the theater's lights too to achieve these...

at the dressing room, really brought us to the 1920s

Again, cheers to my fantastic team -
